That big smile we had over gifts we got either from our birthday, christmas or anniversary actually sadden our mother earth due to the amount of waste of the traditional gift wraps such as plastic, tape, or paper we often use. Do you imagine the trash we produce over those festive periods? Why don’t we stop those habits buying luxurious gift wraps and try making less waste gift wraps? And I personally would feel so much satisfied if I give the gifts for my beloved ones my-own-handmade gift box. Honestly I’m twice satisfied because I can also give positive impact for our lovely planet!

CoHaus is taking this issue and collaborating with Rusflorist (local artist and florist) to help people to create their own low waste gift box. This kind of less-waste gift box is new, I bet you’re not going to find out similar boxes anywhere so it’s super unique and only limited persons who will get a chance to learn the techniques. Anyway, this is hands-on workshop, so everyone will have their own box learning to make them from scratch together. Are you in? I hope I’m not the only one who raise my hand.

This gift box will surely gives you more benefits. It is made from carton board with beautiful natural dried butterfly leaves as a decoration. This box have the functionality because it can be used for storing any kind of messy-little-stuffs you have such as jewelries, cosmetics, make up tools or any other stuffs that needs to be tidy up in your rooms. So we don’t need to throw these gift boxes away! Moreover it is amazingly great for environment, no plastic needed along the process! Lastly, you are spreading a positive impact to your friends or family because you make them to also learn about low waste lifestyle. How cool it is!

Let’s join us to create a memorable gift for your beloved ones! I’ll ask one more time, are you interested? Whoever said “yes” deserve a standing applause because you are one of heroes out there helping to save the world, well, should I call you the avengers now? ;)
